Welcome to my blog. I feel it is important to speak about the “goings on” in my neighborhood from my perspective. Before I get into anything  in much detail, I need to explain about where I live.

When people won’t work anymore they put them in Solivita. Solivita is a community with gates and walls. We don’t have any of those so-called razor wires as of now, but you do need to know a secret code to get in or out or else have a secret symbol embedded in your windshield.

Most of the people should still be working, that’s what I think. I see them going up and down the streets riding golf carts, bicycles, and some of them are even jogging. I would like to be running but my mommy doesn’t run. She’ll get a stitch in her side if she runs, so I have to walk her.

Instead of working, these people do all kinds of stuff to keep busy. They play golf, swim in the pools, and do things like line dancing and zumba and all kinds of active things. See what I mean? They are still able to work! If they weren’t so lazy they would go out and earn more money to support me and my friends. We need good food and more toys. I especially like the ones that squeak.

I have lots of friends here like Roxie, Ollie, Zoey, and several others of my own genre which is Shih Tzu. I think you have to be careful when you say that, people might think you are swearing at them. I have plenty of friends in other genres too, but there is one genre I don’t like and that is Maltese. My momma says I shouldn’t be prejudiced, but I happen to have my reasons.

(Important note: The names have NOT been changed to protect the innocent or the guilty.)

  1. OMG! Brady I love your new blog!!!!! Your so such a smart Shih Tzu too. Someday when my grand doggie Otis comes to Solivita we’ll set up a play date. Give mommy a wag of the tale from me.

  2. Hi there Brady. I am so impressed that you now have your own blog. You may not remember me, but I am an old friend that used to live in Solivita with my friend, Lizzie. You and Lizzie were friends too. I am sending love to you and your Mom. – Jan Harrington from Ohio.
